I was always skeptical about purchasing anything from infomercials. I was over-indulging with unhealthy foods until I saw the P90x infomercial by Tony Horton and Beach Body. So after seeing it about 1000 times I decided to buy it. P90x is a extreme home boot camp system that promises to get you ripped and in the best shape of your life. The P90x System is Based on 90 days of weight training cardio and flexibility workouts based on Muscle Confusion or switching up routines so you don't hit a training plateau and stop seeing results. Also the P90x system has a 90 day warranty!!!The p90x system is broken down into 3 months and each month has a variety of different exercises. The P90x system comes in a box that contains: 1 very through and easy to read and follow Nutrition guide. 1 descriptive fitness guide explaining how to use the P90x system from Day 1 to day 90 and beyond. 13 workout DVDs and info explaining about their virtual gym called Wowy.
Also in the P90x Fitness guide it allows you to pick the right version of P90x that fits your fitness goals. 1 P90x Classic is the 1st version: also this is the one that gives more muscle building workouts and is very extreme. Weight training on Monday Wednesday and Friday followed up by a ab routine, Thursday is a Yoga program for flexibility, and stability, Cardio based programs on Tuesday and Saturday, Sunday is Rest or the Stretching program. 2nd Version is the Lean Version. Cardio based to weigh less. Monday Tuesday and Saturday are Cardio and Core Based workout Days,Wednesday and Friday are weight training days followed by a ab routine. Thursday is a Yoga program for flexibility and stability. Sunday is for Rest or the Stretching Program. Lastly is the Doubles Version and this is for people that want to be in Elite Condition. The 1st month is the same as the Classic (Weight training on Monday Wednesday and Friday followed up by a ab routine, Thursday is a Yoga program for flexibility, and stability,Cardio Based programs on Tuesday and Saturday, Sunday is Rest or the Stretching program.) version, But in the 2nd and 3rd month or Phase you incorporate the Cardio X program 3 times a week in the morning on a empty stomach.
Each workout are about 60 minutes long. But Yoga X is 96 minutes and is broken down into to segments: flexibility and balance Postures. Ab Ripper X is 16 minutes. Note: Ab ripper x can be done earlier in the day or later in the day. It is sometimes tough to do Ab Ripper X right after the weight training/ resistance programs. The 1st DVD to watch is "How to Bring It" video for a quick overview of the complete P90X Extreme Home Fitness training system. Also quick reminder- At the end of all the Weight/ Resistance Training exercise videos is the ab routine so if you plan on doing the ab routine right after the Weight/Training workouts just let the DVD play.

So I decided to Do the Lean Version (highly suggested for people about 230 pounds and above) of P90x at 284 pounds and to the Classic Version. After the Classic version I had put on some more muscle(Muscle weighs more than fat so do not get discouraged) I was down to 242 pounds!!! I was so Thrilled to be at this point! Honestly you have to really understand that P90x does deliver great results and can be done as many times as you like. It is intense and worth the price. It is very Important to stick to the nutrition. Nutrition counts at least 60%.
Please feel free to ask me any question you may have. I will help you get to where you need to be. Also Thanks for reading my review.
