Manifesting a New, More Prosperous You

Today I want to talk to you about personal development, a subject which I'm very passionate about... Recently, a friend of mine ended a long relationship and asked me for help in identifying what she did wrong to cause the failure of the relationship. There is an important lesson here, provided we understand that it is important to take responsibility for ourselves, but in a mature and productive way. I continued to explain to her that she should not look upon the failure of her relationship as something she did wrong, but rather as an opportunity for self improvement. I then began to help her identify some areas within herself which she felt needed improving and would thus help the next relationship be successful. Following is the process I gave her to begin her self improvement transformation and manifest a new, more prosperous person.

To begin, ask yourself a few questions. This will help start the train of thought necessary to begin your transformation into a new, more prosperous you.


What is it that you truly want out of life?
What makes you truly happy?
What are you doing to achieve the happiness you seek?
How much time do you spend on personal development each day, week, month, year?
What are you doing to improve yourself each day?
These are just a few of the questions you can ask yourself to put your mind into the proper train of thought needed to begin your transformation and manifest a new, more prosperous you. You see, your success in whatever you do begins first with you. You must understand this before you can accomplish your goal of self improvement and manifest a new, more prosperous you. To many times we view our success or failures as being determined by outwardly influences. I assure you this is not the case. We are in control of our emotions and it is how we allow outwardly influences to affect us that determines our successes or failures.

Once you've conditioned your mind to begin the proper train of thought necessary to manifest a new, more prosperous you, you can now begin taking steps necessary to achieve your goal. Write the answers to the above questions down and set a goal for each answer to help you achieve them. You must put true intent to achieve the goals behind them if you want to be successful. With your goals and the intent to achieve them defined, you can now take action. At this point you might be wondering how to take action to manifest a new, more prosperous you.

Here are a few steps I recommend that will help to put you on the path to self improvement and a new, more prosperous you:

Feed Your Train of Thought

To continue the process of self improvement and transform yourself into a more prosperous person you need to feed your mind with information necessary to support your effort. The constant influx of positive, self improvement information helps to support your effort and keeps your minds intent to achieve your goal of self improvement firm and attainable. Practice and Apply Self Improvement Exercises and Principles Daily

The daily application of the principles taught through the resources listed above as well as other resources such as exercise, meditation and yoga will have a lasting affect toward achieving a new, more prosperous you.Live in the Present

This is vital to your happiness. Most often we spend our days constantly thinking about our past or the future yet to come. By training ourselves to always think in the present, you will find happiness is easily attainable. A favorite quote of mine form author Deepak Chopra illustrates this perfectly, "The present is the one moment that never ends." This has profound implications once you accept it and understand it. Our past is done and cannot be changed and our future to be has not yet happened. Therefore, it is what we are doing now at this very moment as you read this that will determine where we are tomorrow.

Attend a Yoga Class

Attend a yoga class weekly at a minimum. Yoga is very enlightening and helps to clear your mind and reduce stress. It teaches you how to spend time on yourself and to focus inward by identifying our inner self.

Diet and Exercise

A healthy diet and regular exercise contribute to self transformation of yourself into a more prosperous you. Food and exercise provide the body with the chemicals and minerals needed to improve itself in conjunction with positive self improving thought.

Self improvement is a lifestyle and not simply an activity. Learn to integrate the principles and philosophies of self improvement into your currently lifestyle to create a new, more prosperous you. This will usher in a prosperous, happier lifestyle very quickly and allow you to achieve levels of success in all aspects of your life that you otherwise may not of normally achieved.
